Storyboards

After coming across the problem with the location for my filming I found a new place to use and re drew my storyboards with a couple of changes.

As you can see from my film I did not stick fully to my story boards, I chose not to use any diagetic sounds only my non-diagetic soundtrack which was the voiceover. I believe that using the voiceover works better for my type of film and just gives more effect. It also just helps to show exactly what is going on throughout my film. I also cut out the flashback of the argument with her mother, I didn't think this clip was particulary important, I don't think it was needed and I changed the scene with her friends from a party to her and her friend just at home having a pillow fight, I think it's just a bit more girly and a nicer scene. I changed the Title of my film from 'The End' to 'Is This The End?' I think it just allows people's minds to wander a bit more and use their own imagination as to what happens in the rest of the film. I also think that if I had called it 'The End' it wouldn't suggest much for the rest of the film as thats the end, theres not much else that could happen, where as being is this the end, it just gives it a bit more and if i was to make the rest of the film there is so much more I could do.

Also, these story boards do not include the credits and titles or the transitions which I added once i had uploaded and edited all my clips to make them exactly how I wanted them. I chose to have the flashbacks in black and white to show that there is a difference, to show that they were in the past and that she still thinks of all those times. I also added a 'ripple' effect as the transition for when the flashbacks came in, I think this just helps people to understand that they are flashbacks, so they don't get confused. I added credits to show who was in my film (me and two others), I had them come up at different times during my film and I had them on a black background, I used a 'cross dissolve' transition for when these slides came in.
