I think I have progressed a lot from making my preliminary task to completing my final piece, I enjoyed this one a lot more. I found it better working on my own for a start, as you can only depend on yourself, there is no conflict with anyone else and it's all purely your own work. I think as our (as I worked in a group for that piece) prelim task was very simple, we found it easy to do although that was probably the first time i'd used a proper video camera so when I came to start filming my final piece I had to get the hang of the camera and have a few little practise shots with it first. As for the prelim task I don't think we actually had to edit anything so when it came to editing my final piece I stuggled a bit to start with as I was using a new program but after a while I really got the hang of it and found it really easy and quick. I enjoyed doing all the editing, I found it rather interesting and fun to do, playing around with different transitions and title shots.
As for the actual camera shots, I used the 180 degree rule, high angle and low angle shots in my preliminary task and in my final product I used high and low angle shots again, hand held moving shots, close-ups, extreme-close ups, mid shots, POV, and full length shots.
